PEACEFUL COMMUNICATION USING NVR IDEAS
Course Summary
This experiential one day taster course on Non Violent Resistance (NVR) and attachment presents some of the key concepts involved in parents adopting an NVR approach in complex divorce situations. NVR provides a useful frame for acting with a consistent New Authority in unequal circumstances such as disrupted contact or children witnessing their parents having violent arguments about them. The concepts of keeping the child in mind, parental presence and a commitment to peaceful parenting will be explored and then placed within a specific moral compass of managing a situation that you had never wanted to be in.
