24th November 2017 - FLIP Faculty Special One Day Programme Morning: An Introduction to MBTI Afternoon: The language of collaborative uncertainty
EVENT SUMMARY
This one day event combines two fascinating half day courses, both aimed at developing your skills and ability to support your clients.
Morning Course: An introduction to MBTI
This 3 hour session is about learning more about yourself, based on the world renowned MBTI personality instrument. It will help you explore your preferences for taking in information and making decisions – your preferred way of interacting with others. The MBTI does not describe skills, ability or intelligence and all preferences are regarded as equally important and valuable.
First you will fill in the MBTI Questionnaire, in the comfort of your own surroundings, then a couple of weeks later, meet with Sue Wilson, an experienced MBTI registered practitioner, for a feedback discussion. There, in a relaxed atmosphere, you can expect to learn more about yourself by exploring your own examples of your personality preferences in action.
Afternoon Course: The language of collaborative uncertainty
A discussion/workshop on the subtle use of language by collaborative practitioners and how the use of language will either enhance or inhibit the volume of collaborative work a practitioner engages in.
This workshop will assist solicitors to explain the process of collaborative law and increase the number of clients who take it up as a method of choice for reaching a settlement solution.
