Mary trained as a Parenting Co-ordinator to support parents. This includes parents who need help after a child arrangements order is made and where support is needed to work with a Court order. Also helping parents when a parenting agreement is made and there is further work to help the parenting relationship. Alternatively, you may feel you are going back to court or seeing lawyers about the same parenting issues over and over again. In which case Mary can also help.  

 

Mary works with parents who are committed to change. Mary spends time listening to each parent separately and together within a mediation setting and discussed the issues, shares resources and assists with strategies. If necessary, Mary can be authorised to make decisions about aspects of the order or agreement which you cannot resolve. Primarily Mary will be working together with you to achieve a coordinated and cooperative approach to parenting. Mary believes that Parenting coordination can bring about change and that you are most likely to benefit if you are open to reflecting on your experiences and looking at things from a different perspective, learning new approaches and working together. Mary regularly reviews progress so you can check how the process is working for you.  

 

Mary has been a solicitor for over 30 years and a Mediator for over 15 years. Mary is a Member of Law Society Children Panel, a Family Mediator and a trained Collaborative Lawyer. Mary has achieved Accreditation as a hybrid mediator and has trained as a Child Inclusive Mediator. Mary can conduct parenting coordination online.
