LESLEY EDELSTEIN
Introduction
Lesley is a counsellor psychotherapist, senior tutor in counselling, supervisor and speaker. Specialising in divorce and separation she is passionate in supporting those going through both a break- up and legal proceedings.
Her practice enhances communications styles, coparenting relationships and personal development. The central importance of this work is to ensure a smoother legal process and facilitate child focused parenting.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Lesley has been in private practice for over 8 years and been a tutor for over 6 years in Manchester, Sheffield, Hull, Leeds and Belfast.
Lesley presented a successful workshop for Onlinevents examining how therapy assists those going through divorce.
Having presented well received presentations Lesley now works closely with Family Law practitioners and their clients.
Lesley enjoys her role as a supervisor building strong relationships and supporting supervisees both personally and professionally.

Passion
Lesley’s vision is driven by the obvious need to support those who work in Family Law dealing with issues that arise from working with trauma and high conflict. To eliminate compassion fatigue, encouraging healthy coping mechanisms and self-care. Performance based on sound relationships with clients set within achievable boundaries. A beneficial lifestyle/work balance avoiding unhealthy ways of coping with stress and anxiety, meaning less days off and more days being productive.
In working with high conflict couples where there are disputes regarding children and parenting agreements, the outcome will be beneficial for all those concerned, especially the children so that cycles of damaging relationships fail to be perpetuated.
