TRAINING COURSES FOR FAMILY LAWYERS THAT GET TO THE HEART OF WHAT YOU DO
It has been our dream for many years to make available to the family law community training courses that go to the heart of what family lawyers do.
A very small percentage of family law work is pure law. The biggest part is really about understanding the soup of relationships; the impact of circumstances on our clients’ ability to listen, to make decisions, to take advice, their self-esteem, their ability to co-parent; the impact on different children in different ways of their parent’s separation.
In addition it is important to understand how our own experiences, preferences and prejudices effect what we do and how we do it. This impacts on our clients and their families for the long term.
FLiP Faculty courses are aimed at helping you to understand these influences and so better manage your own work and to deliver an outstanding service.
By attending our courses you will:
Gain deep insights into the psychological aspects of divorce and separation
Learn practical tips and tools to use in your practice as lawyer, mediator or arbitrator
Develope reflective practices
Use models to understand yourself and how this impacts on your work.
We can all strive to be good family lawyers but these courses are designed to make us great family lawyers.
